Saya belajar sesuatu hari ini ('',)

Assalamualaikum w.b.t

Here is the story,

Before the semester ended, it happened that i was giving
one of the most favourite books, The Last Lecture to my lecturer, Sir Hyisyam.
He was leaving us for a promotion. {Congrats sir!}
In all of sudden, i just cant think about any other suitable gift for him.
As a token of appreciation, I gave him the book..
Again, one of my precious books on shelves.

{*end of story*}

Not regreting of giving the book away,
I was thinking of getting another copy.
I know it is quite hard to get the book.
Before, my cousin was hunting for the book all over KL-Sel bookstores.
But none of them stiil got the copy.
It was already sold out during that time.
Lastly, i managed to get the book after several times of
pre-booking at the MPH online. That was before.

This time around, i think i just need a used book to complete
the list of my precious collection.
So, i asked him to get a used one at carboot or charity shop.
(manela tau kot2 ade kn ;p)

When he was calling me very early this morning,
he said he already bought the book at Amazon for GBP 8++
a brand new instead of used one.
suprisingly, hard cover lg tu ;p
waduh waduh...sungguh gumbira hati ini...('',)
mahunya yang buruk saja, tp dapat yang baru, hardcover lg ;p
tQ so much dearie...

APA YANG TELAH SAYA PELAJARI?

1. Give something away and I get something new in return (which is far better) I'Allah.

4. Good deed is really something in return.
yes! very true indeed ('',)

Saya yang telah mempelajari sesuatu,

SAYA PUN MELAYU by Zaid Ibrahim

~STATEMENT OF THE YEAR~
This is my first attempt to finish a political book in life.

b4 this mmg tersgtla susah nak habiskan buku genre macam ni,
I'm not an obsessed bookish (a nicer term instead of nerdy, ;p)
I read books as a therapy, reducing tense & obviously for the sake of knowledge.

anyhow, this book totally changed my perception towards this genre.
it is merely just a book for leisure, with plain writing yet very interesting.
most importantly, the way he wrote the book had captured my soul~eww

Apa yang menarik sangat tentang buku ni?
BANYAK~~lala-
dalam buku ni zaid banyak bercerita tentang pengalaman beliau menjadi menteri selama 5 bln 27 hari! menjadikan beliau menteri yang paling singkat berkhidmat dalam sejarah Msia.
best n sgt best..worth spending time to read.

but for me, tu semua bkn main attraction/ stimulus utk saya mghabiskn buku ni..
haa...the best part is, cerita tentang perjalanan hidup dia dari kecik sampai sekarang,
sampai boleh bukak law firm paling besar kat Msia ni..-Zaid Ibrahim & Co-
dari seorang anak kampung yang hidup serba kekurangan, he manage to succeed.
emm..bukan calang2 ni...very inspiring....

i suggest this book to everybody,
a must-read book,
very interesting, very inspring,
something that worth reading..

HAVE FUN!

P/S: i'm thinking of giving this book to somebody ;p..lalala
sure he'll like it~~

SOMETIMES, ALL WE NEED TO DO IS ask...

i love dis book sooo much!! a must-read book for all especially for those who still searching for a better pathway of life. This book will show you how you can live your life to the fullest~

About 3 months after i bought this book, the author-Randy Paucsh had lost his battle of pancreatic cancer. i watched his live lecture @ Carnegie Mellon and i learned a lot from this.

The most interesting part is when he told us about asking. Asking is somehow an art of communication. Maybe we didn't realize before, that the law of asking is unconsciously applied to our daily life. Either we get what we asked or not, that is entirely different story. But, sometimes all we need to do is ASK.

I remember what had happened when I was in the flight to Surabaya, Indonesia last year. I was reading a magazine and suddenly i have sudden thought about getting a visit into the cockpit. I wonder how I want to get into. So, I wrote a piece of note to the Captain and passed it to the FA. I just give a try but no hope. Then I wrote;

dear captain,
Hello n good day
i'm nadia. I wonder if u can allow me to pay a visit into the cockpit.
it has been my childhood dream to be in.
i hope my request won't cause any trouble.
so many thanx...
passenger @ seat 19

And after sometime, the FA came to me and said, " Captain is bz right now and if u're not in rush u can stay back after we're landing"...I was like, o my gawd..it's unbelievable!..i cant believe it! at the moment I was very happy but kinda worried. it's all mixed up. But then, after I headed to the cockpit, somehow it was strangely comforting. Both captain and co-pilot are very friendly. it was really an experience. One of the precious moment i guess.emm..

given an honor to try the pilot seat~dats kewl kn~

all we need to do is ASK
